Initial Portrait Details

I approached the sensory organs not only as biological structures, but also as some of the strongest connections between humans and the world around them. I focused on details such as the eyes, ears, lips and tried to study their form, texture, and expressiv epower. I realized that each sensory organ silently reflects a person’s emotions and their relationship with their surroundings. By expressing the emotional intensity carried through looks, touch, and facial expressions with anatomical drawings, I wanted to explore the invisible connection between the face and emotion.

Perspective Sketches

These are perspective drawings I created during my art classes, where I focused on improving my spatial awareness, sense of proportion, and technical drawing skills. Through these drawings, I tried to better understand the relationship between depth, distance, and structural composition. By applying the rules of perspective, I explored how objects and spaces can be perceived realistically, which helped me improve both my observation skills and my technical understanding of drawing. At the same time, these studies allowed me to develop a more conscious understanding of the connection between form and space.

Object drawing

In these object drawing studies, I focused on examining the form, volume, and structural details of objects that we often see in everyday life. While drawing objects with different surfaces such as shoes, bags, and fabric, I began to observe proportion, perspective, and the relationship between light and shadow more carefully. In a short period of time, I noticed that I became more confident in building form correctly and expressing the character of objects more clearly. Understanding the difference between soft fabric folds and hard surfaces became an important part of improving my observation skills. These studies helped me realize that even ordinary objects can carry a strong visual expression when observed carefully.

Still life Studies

While working on still life studies, I tried to understand not only the appearance of objects but also the balance they create with each other. Observing how different surfaces such as glass and metal carry and reflect light played an important role in improving my understanding of tone and shading. During this process, I started to approach composition, space, and the relationship between forms more consciously. With each study, I feel that I became more accurate in solving forms and more controlled in creating light and shadow transitions.

Liocut Print

In my linocut print works, I explored form and texture through the strong contrast of yellow and red. During the carving process, I observed how the marks left by each line on the surface changed the emotional effect of the composition. These works helped me develop patience and technical control while creating simple yet powerful visual expressions.

Random sketches, figures

These sketch drawings helped me improve my observation skills and drawing speed in a short period of time. In my studies, I focused on capturing form, movement, and the basic structure of human anatomy through quick lines. Overtime, I noticed that I became more confident in proportion, low, and expression in my drawings. This process allowed meto express my ideas on paper in a more natural and free way.

Body Parts

I approached the parts of the human body as the building blocks of a whole. By focusing on the elements of different human body parts, I examined their proportions, volume, and movement. My aim was to explore the aesthetic structure of form while preserving anatomical accuracy. In addition, even the smallest movement or muscle motion of a human body part is a sign of emotion and reaction. By drawing this anatomically, I wanted to examine its connection with emotion.

Figure studies

In my figure studies, I focused on understanding human anatomy, movement, and body language more deeply. While working on different poses and body angles, I began to study the relationship between muscle structure, proportion, and balance in form. In a short period of time, I noticed that my drawings developed a stronger sense of volume and anatomical awareness. Expressing the emotion and movement carried by the figure through lines became an important part of my artistic exploration. These studies improved not only my technical skills, but also my ability to observe the human body more carefully. Each figure became part of my process of understanding the connection between form and expression.

Canvas paintings

In these canvas paintings, I focused on exploring therelationship between color, light, and atmosphere. Throughlandscapes, flowers, and figure studies, I tried to improveboth my emotional expression and my understanding ofcomposition. In a short period of time, I noticed that I became more confident in my use of color, depth, and brushcontrol. Each work reflects a part of the development of my observation skills and artistic perspective.

Bust sculptures

In these bust sculptures, I focused on understanding thevolume, structure, and expressive qualities of the human face through three-dimensional form. Working with clay helped me study facial anatomy from different angles and experience form in a more physical way. In a short period oftime, I noticed that I became more confident in proportion, facial structure, and surface details.

Initial Portraits

“Portraits” is a study that examines the complex surfaces and structure of the human face, focusing on the relationship between texture, form, and expression. Throughout this series, I tried to better understand the interaction between lines, shapes, and shadows by exploring the details of facial features. During my work, I discovered that the human face is not only a physical form, but also a powerful area of expression that reflects emotions and identity.
